In December, the Schöller Endowed Chair for Information Systems was able to welcome a prominent guest to Nuremberg.

Prof. Steven Alter, emeritus professor at the University of San Francisco, and known for the Work System Theory he developed, gave a lecture in the context of the TOBI-Talk series in the research area of Digitization and Innovation. He presented an extension of the Work-System-Theory and discussed different facets of work. During the visit the existing research cooperation of the Schöller Endowed Chair with Prof. Alter was deepened and PhD students of the Institute for Business Informatics had the opportunity to discuss their own PhD ideas with Prof. Alter.

Of course, a visit of the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt was a must during the visit.
