Optimizing your profile in career networks: A study by FAU provides insight

Career networks like LinkedIn are not only platforms that let you keep in contact with your business network – but also are a great way to access new jobs. In a study on Social Recruiting and Active Sourcing conducted in cooperation with the University of Bamberg and Monster, we found that 1 in 7 positions within 1,000 of Germany´s largest companies is staffed using Active Sourcing. For positions within the IT-sector this number is even higher.
