2020 ACM SIGMIS Computers and People Research Conference

Although, we were not able to welcome you to Nuremberg this week for the 2020 ACM SIGMIS Computer and People research conference, the proceedings of the accepted papers are now available at the ACM digital library. Please have a look and spend some time to reflect the papers that have been accepted for the conference. Many thanks to the co-chairs and the program co-chairs for organizing the conference and putting together an interesting program. Also many to thanks to all authors and reviewers for their support of the conference. We are looking forward for the 2021 conference, when we hopefully will meet in person again.

The Schöller-Team, who was not only in charge for organizing the conference in Nuremberg, provided also academic impact for the success of the conference. In two papers, current results of research projects members of the Schöller-Team were involved were presented at the conference. Jessica Ochmann, Sandra Zilker, and Sven Laumer presented their work on black box concerns of job seekers when using AI in the job seeking process. Furthermore, Sven Laumer was part of an author team that presented results of a literature review on information privacy in the digital age. Moreover, Sebastian Schötteler was part of the doctorial consortium and received feedback from five mentors about his work on enterprise social networks embedded in enterprise social media.
