Above-average students who have already completed a module at the Schöller Endowed Chair can apply for the position of Research Graduate (m/f/d).
The Research Graduate program gives students an early start to an academic career. Successful applicants have the opportunity to work as a research assistant at the Schöller Endowed Chair after successfully completing their Master’s degree.
The Research Graduate program provides an introduction to research during the Master’s thesis. The Master’s thesis is written at the Schöller Endowed Chair in the field of “Digital Transformation” and then submitted to a scientific conference or journal.
The research graduate position is seen as part of the chair team at the level of academic staff. Therefore, participation in internal social events and close collaboration with the entire team will also take place.
Your tasks
- Master’s thesis and research in the “Digital Transformation” field of expertise
- Collaboration in the existing teaching and administration of the chair
- Collaboration in the research projects of the chair, possibly with various practice partners
Your profile
Research Graduate “Digital Transformation” (m/f/d)
as part of a 50% position and with the possibility of a doctorate. This position is initially limited to one year. An extension and subsequent employment as a doctoral candidate is desired, but cannot be guaranteed. This requires above all
- Ongoing Master’s degree from the third semester onwards at FAU.
- Very good Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, psychology or a similar degree program.
- Fun and interest in solving scientific problems in the context of digitization
- First practical experience from previous professional activities or relevant internships or working student activities
- A high degree of responsibility, self-discipline, structure and pioneering spirit
- Excellent German and English language skills
