With the conclusion of International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2025 in Nashville, Prof. Sven Laumer has completed his three-year term on the ICIS Executive Committee.
In this context, the Association for Information Systems (AIS) introduced the ICIS Outstanding Committee Member Award for the first time. Prof. Sven Laumer was honored as the inaugural recipient of this award, recognizing his service as Program Co-Chair of ICIS 2024 in Bangkok.
The award acknowledges his commitment to the academic community and his contributions to shaping the ICIS program, in close collaboration with the conference committee, authors, reviewers, associate editors, and track chairs from around the world.
The chair warmly congratulates Prof. Sven Laumer on this recognition and thanks him for his outstanding service to the international information systems community.
