Helena studied for a B.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Bonn from 2018 to 2022, specializing in occupational and organizational psychology, educational psychology, and neuroeconomics, and completing her bachelor’s thesis in statistics and methodology. During her bachelor’s studies, Helena gained initial experience in management consulting and organizational development.
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Helena worked in the IT departments of Mercedes Benz AG, where she was involved in an innovation lab for the agile, user-centered development of software products for manufacturing processes in automotive production and in change management processes. During this time, she studied for an interdisciplinary M.Sc. in Human Factors at the Technical University of Berlin, where she ultimately participated as a working student in the field of human-machine systems in a research project on the acceptance and transfer of AI in the production of medium-sized companies. In her master’s program from 2022 to 2025, Helena focused on human-technology interaction, human-centered working methods and design, as well as deepening her knowledge of statistics and methods of empirical, primarily quantitative and experimental research, and completed her studies with a thesis on trust in social human-robot interaction.
Helena has been a research assistant at the chair since mid-2025. In the future, she will be involved in research, teaching, and program administration.
