Einführung „Perspektiven der Wirtschaftswissenschaften“

Content:

  • Business administration topics are dealt with by means of a computer-based simulation:
    1. Administration: thinking in terms of business alternatives, correctly interpreting market situations and market results and translating them into goal-oriented decisions
    2. Procurement and warehousing: calculating optimal order quantities
    3. Production: investment and disinvestment decisions, capacity utilization planning, personnel planning
    4. Sales: analysis of the market and competitive situation, planning of marketing expenditures, analysis of market research reports, determination of pricing policy
    5. Finance: Financial planning, profit and loss statement, balance sheet analysis.
  • Students work in groups to create a presentation on a general business or field of study related topic.

Organization:

Date: October 14, 2025 to October 17, 2025, a detailed schedule can be found on Campo and in StudOn.

Catch-up date: Start November 5 to December 1, 2025, more detailed information can be found in the course and in Campo.

Normally there is no catch-up course in the summer semester, BUT if a corresponding number of students are interested in the catch-up course in the summer semester, there is the possibility to join the waiting group on StudOn. This is possible under the following link.

Registration for the course:

Join the StudOn “Pre-course” via the following link. There you will find three courses and further information.

If you are in the preliminary course, you must select one of the three courses, only then can you participate.

Registration for the two courses TUE+THU and WED+FRI is  possible until 10.10.2025.

Registration for the catch-up course is possible up to and including 4. November (23:55).

Students who are not yet fully immatriculated must also register for the course. Help with registration and creating a guest ID (self-registration) can be found here.

Please note that the guest ID is only valid until January 31, 2026. Once you have completed your immatriculation, please be sure to use your “correct” ID.
