Overview

The chair’s research also focuses on the acceptance and use of digital technologies. Different innovations are researched with regard to their acceptance and their effects on individual attitudes and behaviors. The focus is on questions of acceptance and use of digital technologies both in companies and for private purposes.

For the analysis of the acceptance of digital technologies in companies, the ADTC framework was developed, which is the basis of a large number of projects with various companies. In this way, it has been possible in the past to analyze challenges to user acceptance or satisfaction and to derive implications for the design of digital work systems. The focus is on the question of how people perceive digital technologies in relation to their work context and what challenges arise from this perception.
